Incredible Iceland Tour April 1st through 11th 2015

Who wants to photograph Iceland?

Iceland has many natural wonders ranging from stunning waterfalls, translucent blue icebergs on black sandy beaches to natural hot springs and towering, snowcapped mountains. The question should be who doesn’t want to photograph Iceland?

Clint Baker and I travelled extensively throughout Iceland in 2013 and we’re now looking to return to this amazing country. Our aim is to take a small group of photographers to capture those amazing waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs and stunning mountain views.

So, we are seeking expressions of interest in joining our small group, 10 day tour of incredible Iceland in April 2015 dates are confirmed as 1st through 11th April 2015. The tour group numbers will be small, just 6 people, and all transport, accommodation and breakfast whilst on tour will be included in price. Accommodation will be twin share, unless a single room option is preferred (for an added cost), at quality comfortable hotels and motels. Airfares into Keflavik International Airport where the tour departs are not included in the price.

Some of the locations we will visit on our 10 day tour are:

  • Seljalandsfoss, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.
  • Skogafoss, one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland with a width of 25 metres and drop of 60 metres.

  • Skaftafell National Park, including Savartifoss (Organ pipe falls) and amazing snow capped mountains.
  • Dettifoss, where the earth looks like it is being ripped apart by a massive and awe inspiring waterfall.
  • Selfoss, a stunning waterfall just a few hundred meters upstream from Dettifoss.
  • Godafoss, the god of all Icelandic waterfalls and one of the most beautiful waterfalls you will ever see.
  • Kirkjufell, one of the most photographed mountains in Iceland with two amazing waterfalls in the foreground creating stunning photographs.

What Past Workshop Attendees Have Said :

Dale Frank - The three day Great Ocean Road Workshop with Neal has completely changed the way I take my photographs and also post process my images.
Would recommend Neal’s workshops to anyone who wishes to get more out of their photography.

Ricardo .C - ”Thank you Neal for the one-on-one workshop today. Your approach was effective and nothing was left out and I appreciate you ensuring that you answered all of my questions. Was definitely worth the small investment”

Michael Taylor Education and Training Co-ordinator Busselton Camera Club - The one day workshop was a real hit with our members. It was interesting and ‘hands on’ and the way you used some of their own images taken during the day and made them ‘pop’ by applying minimal post processing was both inspirational and educational.

Jill Fisher - ”It was a wonderful workshop and my first time visiting Great Ocean Road. Although I’m not exactly a beginner, Neal was a very good instructor and always very helpful when needed. I would recommend anyone who wants to photograph this part of the world to join one of Neal’s workshops, he knows the area very well and has a passion for landscapes and it shows”.

David Lanigan -”The one day course with Neal was both enjoyable and informative. Neal was very hands on for the entire process –  from camera settings and helping frame your shot, to the post processing techniques used to bring your images to life. Questions were not a problem and everything was answered thoroughly in a friendly manner.”
