Sand Dunes Western Australia

Well it has been sometime since my last post. In reality I have not really had anything I thought was worth a posting and life has been busy in the real world so the cyber world suffered. But situations are always evolving and recently I have manage to get out on few shoots and now have a few new images of some Australian landscapes that I can share through the blog.

First up is a shot taken a week or so ago spending the night up at some dunes with Mark Stohard. An interesting shoot as we shot both dusk and dawn to very different colours and conditions. With the aftermath of a heavy storm on the friday night it was somewhat calm and still at the dunes. This image is a series of images blended together for colour and resolution. Having produced a few square images in the last 12 months and as I see them printed and framed I become more and more inclined to produce more.

I recently printed, framed and sold a square image from Esperance. After final inspection before delivery to the client I found myself standing back and thinking wow, thats mine and its square what is going on ? …. The final print was a image taken of Lucky Bay Esperance. An image not to dissimilar from this dune shot in tone and simplicity, so I can see myself looking more and more for opportunities to produce square landscape prints

New Landscape Releases

I am pleased to bring you four new print releases of my travels over the pasted few months. Something from the Hawaiian Mountains, and three landscape prints from the Southern Region of Western Australia.

All images are now listed in the “Open Edition” section of the website. “After The Harvest” is listed under the Limited Edition Tab, Western Australia 9 only prints available.

Well it has been some time since my last post. In this time I have been working on my “Open Edition Landscape Panoramic Images” as well as looking through over 2000 images taken on a 10 day trek through Western Australia’s Great Southern Region.

In those 10 days I visited the Stirling Ranges, Esperance and Cape Le Grand as well as a couple of days in Albany and a night in Pemberton.

While most of my trip was spent down around the Esperance region I did manage to capture a few nice images that I will be showing on this blog of Albany, the Stirling Ranges and Pemberton. While I did get some nice light quite a few days where no god for shooting because of either harsh light, calm burn offs or too many hours driving between locations. Because of this I will be revisiting the Pemberton, Stirling Ranges region of Western Australia in the coming weeks, so be on the look out for those images.

First up is a coule of images from the recent trip. One of the stirling ranges and one of an amazing Esperance sunset on the beach. Both of these images will be made available for sale via the “Open Edition” section of the website in the coming weeks.
