For me an Australian visiting Iceland there is nothing more left of centre than seeing black sand beaches with icebergs on the shoreline.
But here I was for a couple of mornings in the freezing cold capturing these amazing ice sculptures being washed a shore on this pitch black sand, the blue of the ice and black sand made for a stunning colour contrast and great photo opportunities. This particular berg caught my eye as I was walking along the beach with its kind of seagull shape and amazing blue colour.
