Mirror Lake in Yosemite National Park is a seasonal lake that comes very close to disappearing in the dry season due to the accumulation of sediment. After heavy rains or the spring snow melt run off the lake takes on enough water. On still days the lake is like a mirror and the reflection is amazing to see.
