Deep within the Eastern Sierra Mountains lies Mono Lake. This large shallow saline lake formed around 760,000 years ago. Home to migratory birds, brine shrimp the lake supports little life because of the brine nature of the waters. Late one even well past the sunset with little or no wind I began shooting the blue hour. With coyotes howling in the distance and most of the day visitors gone the area was left to just a handful of people taking in the last light at this majestic place.
