After the a very dry wet season and recent bush fires started by lightning strikes Karijini National Park in the northern area of Western Australia had a very different and unique look. With some amazing clouds in the sky coming into frame the early morning shoot of this dry burnt land they call Australia, Karijini showed another side to her beauty.
With the sun just coming up over the horizon I knew there was only going to be a very narrow window to shoot. Finding a slight ridge and prominent Gum Tree I waited for the light to just start hitting the red earth to final produce the outback landscape image of Australia I wanted.
