We have some amazing sand dunes here in Western Australia and while they are no where near the size of the dunes in California or Africa they do lie on the coast and very accessible. Shot in the late afternoon after a long hot spell and just before the end of day summer storm came through. The contrast of light against the sand and heavy cloud build really gives the image depth and a sense of time. Processed as a black and white to focus attention to the lines and curves of the sand and the way the light played against them.
