Ancient Steps Karijini National Park

Visiting the National Park Karijini for the 3rd time I realised there is so much more to the gorges than the usual vistas. Some of the most stunning aspects of Karijini is the smaller scale yet equally as stunning textures of the park that prove to be amazing subject material for stunning photographic prints of Karijini.

Here I focused my camera lens on the small series of granite steps and the water running over them in the late afternoon light. After a few shots to get the light and angel perfect I found this stunning example of these ancient steps in the late afternoon summer glow.
